distance, distance, do you really matter? distance, distance, where do you take my safety? distance, distance, every night i’m shivering. distance, distance, are you crossable? distance, distance, will you ever be over? distance, distance, do you really matter? distance, distance, i don’t know for sure. distance, distance, you may set our bodies apart, but not our hearts. distance, distance. distance, distance. distance, distance.

If one day I lose my vision, I still have you to look out for me
If one day I lose my hearing, I still have you to hear what the world says
If one day I lose my strength, I still have you to lend yours
If one day I lose my dreams, I still have you to give me new ones
If one day I lose my heart, I still have yours to keep
If one day I lose everything, I still have you
And it means I’ve lost nothing
Because you have been and you will always be my everything

Thakoon focused on over-sized paisleys for his print stories for Spring 2012. The vibrant turquoise and tangerines were swirled into imaginative patterns cut into everything from shift dresses and flouncy mini skirts, to slim cigarette pants. While verging on visually overwhelming, it never veered in costume territory, and the paisleys in particular looked modern and fresh. We paired some Paradox variations in similar colors alongside the runway shots. (Runway images via Vogue.com)

i never, ever, expected to spend the second day of lebaran with his family!
we were driving to eat some satay, but otw home we got jammed when we were heading through lembang.
sure, it took hours for us to realize that this way wasn’t gonna work,
but all the fun and laughter and everything in between that we shared made it okay.
his brother is like, superbly talkative and crazy.
his dad is sooo calm, but his short comments are somewhat funny and entertaining.
his mom is sooo carefree and she laughs, all the time.
his granma is the classic javanese type, the calm and my my she seemed depressed everytime yudho farted.
his family is awesome.
and he himself, despite being sick and farting most of the time, is always nice and all romantic.
honestly, i feel more comfortable spending time with his family to that of mine.
it sounds wrong, i know! but it’s true.
don’t get me wrong; i enjoy being with my own family too,
but it’s the laughter that’s missing from ours.

so glad to know that your family enjoys my apple pie :D
